Magnificat, “rejoice”! Just as Mary joyfully sings of God’s great goodness in this song, you too can join Mary for 90 days to discover how great His goodness is and how much He loves you, right in the midst of your daily life.

Vision

Magnificat 90 is a 90-day journey in which you, as a woman, deepen your love for Christ in your daily life, a path in which you may find freedom through letting go. As a woman, you set out together with other women and encourage each other. Inspired by Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, you seek to grow in trust and surrender. Through faithfulness to prayer, the gift of fasting, and the power of community, you will discover how much God cares for you and sees you as his beloved daughter!

Why?

Magnificat 90 wants to help women grow in their personal relationship with Christ, in which we experience that we are loved unconditionally, which we can live and express in our daily lives.

For whom?

Magnificat 90 is for every Christian/Catholic woman of all walks of life (single, married, mother, working, student, etc.) who is seeking to discover and/or deepen her personal relationship with Christ.

How does it work?

The 90-day journey is guided by our self-developed journal (see www.magnificat90.com) and the book “I believe in Love,” based on texts by St. Thérèse of Lisieux. One can bring together a group of at least two people (we recommend a group size of max. 6 to 8 women), or one can use our website (www.magnificat90.com) to get in touch with a group one can join. One will undertake the 90-day journey with this group. One will be working towards a feast day in the Catholic Church on day 91, for example Easter, Christmas, or another beautiful church feast day.

How did it start?

Magnificat 90 originated from a deep desire to grow in our personal relationship with God, very concretely, in the midst of our daily lives as women. We saw a great desire among many women in the Netherlands and beyond to have something concrete in which they, together with other women, could grow in their personal relationship with Christ in the midst of their daily lives of work, family, and study. The Holy Spirit brought us together as a team, and step by step we were able to develop Magnificat 90: first by embarking on a 90-day journey ourselves, then by setting up pilot groups so that we could also implement the experiences of other women in Magnificat 90.
